Sometime yum calculation just takes too long, I've increased the timeout in our apache server due to http 500 errors triggering failed builds.
It used to be the default 3 minutes, and have increased it to 5 minutes, and although reduced, still frequently exceeds the apache timeout. We are using: Will artifactory version 3 reduce the amount of time it takes to calculate yum metadata? Since we practice continuous delivery, we do not use asynchronous yum calculation as it would be problematic to know when packages are available for deployment. Therefore we trigger yum calculation via REST API after RPM packages are uploaded and we sometimes get http 500 errors from apache (in front of artifactory) -- View this message in context: http://forums.jfrog.org/yum-metadata-calculation-takes-too-long-and-http-500-errors-tp7578996.html Sent from the Artifactory - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite!
