We recently did the same thing.

We set up an NFS share for storing artifactory data and backups then sym-linked
the relevant folders.

Originally I tried creating a symbolic link to the
$ARTIFACTORY_HOME/data/filestore folder leaving the index folders etc on the
machine running artifactory, however this did not work, (retrieve worked,
publish failed), so I had to create a symbolic link to the entire data folder.

Subject: [Artifactory-users] change default locations of backup and data
directories

Hi All,

I installed clean/new Artifactory in Linux via RPM installation process. Now I
want to change the default locations of data and backup directories. Where can
I find the settings to change this? I have added new logical volume to maintain
data and backups since they take huge disk spaces.

I was searching the Artifactory forums for quite sometime but couldn't find
solution for my query.

Thanks in Advance.

PS: I was able to change filestore location from
$ARTIFACTORY_HOME/data/filestore but I want to move entire data to different
location.
