Hi everyone,
We are using Artifactory 3.4.2 as our binary repo manager. We have
configured LDAP settings within Artifactory and are using LDAP groups to
manage users and their permissions. It's functioning correctly as long as
the user is directly under any defined LDAP group. If there are more than
one level of groups between the user and the base group, that user fails to
login. Let me clarify it with an example:
We have a user USR1 and a group called GRP1. USR1 user is a member of group
GRP1 without any subgroup in between. We have another group called GRP2
which is a subgroup of GRP1. Two users USR2 and USR3 are defined in group
GRP2.
GRP1

GRP2 USR1
|
/-----|-----\

USR2 USR3
GRP1 is imported in Artifactory using LDAP settings and USR1 can login
without any problems. However, USR2 and USR3 are not able to login. We are
looking for a way to include all users that are members of groups defined
under GRP1 recursively without adding them manually again. We could see no
relevant info neither in user's manual nor on the web.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Ozan
