Is there a way to recover consistency or data for the derby database - one
.date file is damaged.
Due to disk problems, which is now recovered, three pieces of data ended up
corrupted over time:
root@artifact:~# ll
/srv/artifactory/artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/derby/seg0/c8c0.dat
ls: cannot access
/srv/artifactory/artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/derby/seg0/c8c0.dat: No such file
or directory
root@artifact:~# ls -al
/srv/artifactory/artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/filestore/97/97490940aef718acd48b1a2de4fcb4447a805dcf
ls: cannot access
/srv/artifactory/artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/filestore/97/97490940aef718acd48b1a2de4fcb4447a805dcf:
No such file or directory
root@artifact:~# ls -al
/srv/artifactory/artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/filestore/e9/e9c24c90e077550ce6c5f3905082a197bf322a10
ls: cannot access
/srv/artifactory/artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/filestore/e9/e9c24c90e077550ce6c5f3905082a197bf322a10:
No such file or directory
The two pieces on the filestore correspond to two files, I have recovered
and uploaded again (alternatively I could probably have copied the files
into the filestore hierarchy as well ?)
The data 'artifactory-3.1.1.1/data/derby/seg0/c8c0.dat' I also have on
backup, but how can I restore the damaged derby database? Or just that
chunks of data that is corrupt?
We have some older artifactory backups as well, but they can't be used for
restoring the hole system. Need to mix them with never data.
It seems to hold build information, as I only now have problems with two
things (as we currently know of):
* including build information in backup
* showing build information in artifactory, which gives a internal error,
if we got to Artifacts->Builds
