Hi dor, there could be many causes for this.
Can you check the transfer speed from the server in some other way, just to make sure it's not the underlying network connection that's slow? I mean, transferring files from the same server instance, but from some service other than Artifactory -- or even just over FTP or something. One cause which is unlikely but easy to check is described in the old thread I started, "Artifactory perfomance tuning tips?". The problem we had is that it's possible (but rare?) for Artifactory to get into a "bad" state with its default logging configuration, where it is continually rolling over log files, making the entire server slow (and it gets slower as the log files get larger). You can easily see this happening by watching the timestamps for the zipped old log files -- they will all change every few seconds. Hope that helps, or at least that you get it fixed somehow!
