Hi Phil,

since nobody else has replied: the usual suggestion from JFrog is to set up a
brand new server instance, export everything from the old one (metadata and
possibly configuration as well), then import to the new server.

Assuming your files are on disk, rather than BLOBs embedded in the database,
I'm sure I read that there's a quick way to just copy the files over, though I
can't find the documentation for it online now. The basic idea was that you
would do an Export but check "Exclude Content", then copy the filestore folder
to the new location, then do an Import on the new server (again with "Exclude
Content"), and it would just happily find that all the content already existed.

Hope that helps,

Subject: [Artifactory-users] Upgrading 3.5 to 4.4.2

We need to update from 3.5 to 4.4.2 - we also want to move the Artifactory Pro
instance to a new host - how involved is this? Is it possible to just copy over
the data (repos) to the new server, or do we update on the existing server, and
then setup sync? Thanks
