Have an artifactory 4.2.1 install with several repos. If I go to the Storage Summary tab and add up all the storage used by each repo, I get a total of just under 1.5 TB. But total space used by the system is a lot higher. (Binaries size is 3.4TB, Artifact Size is 3.6TB.)
Why the difference? I've run Garbage collection manually (it has a cron schedule anyway) and did a "Prune Unreferenced Data" (although I think that's just the database) but no real change. So, what unseen force ate my 2TB of disk space? Or what can I do to find out?
