Hello Hugh,

Many Thanks for your reply.

I had proposed managing different binaries in corresponding repo's.

But team is very keen on managing all the binaries in single repo(Generic
repository)

So I need to work on a structure like this

Generic repository on a high level and multiple folders under that generic
repository
          Folder1(Project1)-->Binaries
          Folder2(Project2)-->Binaries
          Folder3(Project3)-->Binaries
          Folder4(Project4)-->Binaries
          Folder5(Project5)-->Binaries

Now, as per Artifactory features I cant upload a folder until it is zipped,
so i need to create an empty folder and then upload binaries.
unfortunately I cant create empty folders using Artifactory User Interface.

So I am exploring options using curl to create an empty folder in a generic
artifactory repository via command line and no joy yet in doing so.

Can you please advice if there is an option to just create an empty folder
in Generic Artifactory Repository.

I know shying away from the actual purpose of artifactory is not a good
practice but sometimes have to try these kind of options :)

Cheers
Raj
