Hi, that's not an issue of liquid cloud absorption. instead it is due to a recent change in the partition function handling (in the line absorption part), and it will occur with any atmospheric scenario that has temperatures outside of 150-300K, the fitting range of the "old" partition function parametrization.
for using the "old approach" and skipping this error, change the call of atmfields_checkedCalc in the controlfile to atmfields_checkedCalc( bad_partition_functions_ok = 1 ). wishes, J On Mon, Jul 6, 2015 at 8:58 AM, 黄莹珠 <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Jana, > > When I use the liquid cloud absorption in the abs_lookup_table,the error > occured: > Run-time error in method: ybatchCalc > Run-time error at ybatch_index 611: > Run-time error in agenda: ybatch_calc_agenda > Run-time error in method: atmfields_checkedCalc > There are bad partition functions in your setup. > Minimum temperature for defined partition functions is: 150 K. > Maximum temperature for defined partition functions is: 300 K > There is a t_field entry of 300.268 K. > > why? > > Regards > Huang Yingzhu
