Role: Business Objects Administrator/Developer Location Minneapolis, MN Start Date Immediate Duration 6 months contract Rate $60/hr *Job Description:* The Business Objects Administrator/Developer will have working implementation/support/development experience with Business Objects Enterprise Web Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Manager/Dashboard Manager, Crystal Reports, and Dashboard/Analytic reporting on the Business Objects XI 3.1 platform. This includes support, maintenance, deployment, development and application monitoring the enterprise Business Objects XIR 3.1 Infoview public facing and Intranet portal integrated with the WEBI API/SDK (ASP and JSP). These responsibilities include application upgrades, patch/hotfix updates, server build-outs and hardware replacement decisioning, along with related development efforts in support/maintenance of the platform. *Skills:* -Experience Level 15 yrs IT, including 10 yrs of BO exp 1. Extensive experience with Business Objects Enterprise XI R2/R3, Web Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Management (Dashboards), Crystal Reports, Auditor, Supervisor, Administration Console etc. 2. In-depth understanding of SAP BO architecture and relative experience installing, configuring and administering Business Objects products; 3. Extensive working experiences in Business Object Web clustering infrastructure design and implementation 4. Extensive experience with Business Objects security architecture/configuration, Business Contingency/Disaster Recovery, and backup/restore process administration. 5. Development experience with Enterprise BI Data Presentation Strategy and implementation, WebIntelligence ad hoc reports, 2-tier Business Objects/Crystal reports, universe design, and analytic/dashboard KPI solutions 6. Support, configuration, and development experience using Dot.Net/Java with the Business Objects API/SDK development tools as it relates to J2EE and Dot.Net pubic-facing web-portal integration 7. Knowledge of XCelsius 2008 (dashboards), Data Warehousing and dimensional modeling desirable 8. Follows approved corporate life cycle management and enterprise change management methodologies, contributes in the creation of design documents and technical specifications 9. Experience with SQL Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services a plus. 10. Strong communications skills both orally and written.--
