3 – 5 yrs experience on Teradata.
Knowledge about Teradata architecture experience working on *Teradata tools:

BTEQ,FASTLOAD,MULTILOAD, FASTEXPORT Ability to work on large data, multiple
tables ,wide variety of data
Good at query tuning, optimization, automation
Hands on experience on ad-hoc analysis with teradata (developers who are
strong only on etl are not a fit) need to generate reports for adhoc
requirements .
Good understanding of the data models .
Validation and data correctness check.
Ability to prototype solutions, with excellent SQL skills requires very
good sql skills, should be able to understand udf’s , olap functions and use
them efficiently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple requests
Should be comfortable working on multiple time sensitive tasks in parallel .
Should be able to learn fast and keep up to the fast evolving environment.
Able to work independently.
Good to excellent communication
