*Description: *COGNOS work will focus on data modeling and COGNOS report development; while the ETL work will focus on data transfer from transaction databases to the Agency's data warehouse. *COGNOS Responsibilities: *1.Interact with Technical architect, data architect, development team and management staff on a daily basis to model BI solutions. 2.Work with team members and independently to create report Solutions using COGNOS development tools (V 8.3 and 8.4). *ETL Responsibilities *1.Interact with Technical architect, data architect, development team and management staff on a daily basis to model BI solutions. 2.Work with team members to develop SQL and SSIS packages to manage, transform and data for movement into the Agency's data warehouse on a scheduled basis. *Must Have: *Excellent COGNOS Modeling and Reporting skills. Excellent T-SQL skills. Strong in MS SQL SSIS package development. Background in formalized process controls for change management. Knowledge of AGILE software development methodology. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Good written/verbal skills.
