*Description:* The individual will report to the QA Manager and work closely with a team of tool developers, QA testers and software developers to define, estimate, develop, maintain and refine software test tools. Many tools will be used for testing software services, configuring test environments, comparing large data sets, and simulating system load. Some tools will test graphical user interfaces. The individual will also be involved in advising effective test strategies. Elicit requirements and offer ideas for new test tools and enhancements to existing tools. Estimate work required to develop test tools. Support tool users by answering questions and investigating problems with software tools. Manage software tools according to departmental policies.
