Job Title: Oracle RMS Location: Framingham, MA Duration: 6 +month contract *We're looking for BA's for the Global Oracle Merchandising Project *We're looking for BA's to use their business knowledge and be part of groundbreaking technology *BA's will learn a brand new, state of the art application with modern technology, used by hundreds of retailers, globally *BA's will have input into key Oracle design decisions *BA's will be part of a truly global solution that will help meet our business growth objectives *BA's will help design a flexible and robust solution that will take us far into the future *The Oracle functional BA will focus on a business processes in an area of the business including the integrations to the other functional areas of the business and focusing on the Oracle configurations and trouble-shooting Oracle Applications issues with MyOracle Support. * *Responsibilities of all BA's with guidance/direction from the BPI Lead: *Assisting the Business resources with the following: *Defining the required business processes *Understanding key deliverable and how they contribute to business success Providing input and perspective on contingency and cutover plans *To be forward thinking in order to work with the business to identify potential future needs and incorporate into Oracle Retail Solution design as necessary and/or appropriate *Oracle Functional Business Analysts Responsibilities (working in partnership with business resources and Reporting BI BA’s): *Performing all business analysis *Defining UI screens (where appropriate) *Defining the UAT Strategy, plans and test cases *Working with Change Management in order to identify the Training Strategy and Plans *Determining the release strategy (clearly understanding the impact on operations and legacy applications) *Participate in business change management activities *Work with security to develop Oracle Security Roles for appropriate systems access control *Configure UI screens as appropriate *Configure Oracle RMS through the front end to meet all business requirements *Work with Oracle Support to resolve any application issues. *Prepare all appropriate test scripts and test all Oracle patches prior to business UAT testing *Become the Oracle Retail expert (RMS/RPAS/RDF) *Assist with determining the release strategy (clearly understanding the impact on operations and legacy applications) *Participate in business change management activities *Work with security to develop Oracle Security Roles for appropriate systems access control *Work closely with Oracle DBA team to resolve environment and/or performance issues Oracle Functional BA Skill Sets (BA’s should have some combination of the skills below, with an aptitude for learning the others): •Facilitation •Ability to illicit requirements •Prioritization facilitation •Ability to gain buy-in •Collaboration and communication skills •Impact analysis •Logical analysis •Negotiation •Collaboration with both business and technical teams •Business process modeling •Ability to create individual and end-to-end UAT plans •Knowledge of change management processes •Knowledge of legacy application landscape •Conflict resolution •Oracle configurations •Oracle subject matter expertise *Business subject matter expertise Thank you, Abdul Nadeem [email protected] 201-257-5081 *216 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Companies Looking for IT Out Staffing & Recruitment" group.
