Job Title: QA Tester Location: Tarrytown,NY Duration: 6+ Months contract with extensions Quality Assurance Tester performs a variety of test services on a project, performing all testing activity needed after unit testing (which will be performed by the application developers on the project team) up until customer acceptance testing (which is generally performed by the business customers on the project). This position will be responsible for detailed analysis, strategy, and preparation of test deliverables for highly complex business and technical projects. Validation & Planning - Perform test analysis of complex systems and prepare Test Strategy. Develops detailed test plans for more highly complex systems. Determine completeness of unit testing. Plan end-to-end integration testing. Testing Execution - Performs all testing phases from integration testing thru operational readiness testing. Execute integration testing. Participate in migration scheduling. Coordinates stress and load testing. Provides leadership and support to Test Captain and less experienced QA Testers. Sustainability - Develop regression test strategies and scripts for future releases. Establish integrated unit and model environments (including test data). Customer Support - Assist customers to develop and execute their customer acceptance testing. Metrics & Reporting - Capture test metrics for each test phase and support cross project consolidation of metrics for root cause analysis. Provide ongoing testing updates to project manager and other key project team members.
