Qualifications
Strong hands on development experience working with C# and .Net.
• Strong understanding of the investment process, research workflows, equity
and derivative securities, and market data services.
• Microsoft Office Application expertise, in particular with Excel and the
creation/maintenance of Excel VBA macros is a plus
• Strong SQL skills and prior experience with Oracle/SQL Server tools.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Sharepoint is a plus
• Prior experience with Java/Unix solutions a strong plus
• 3+ years experience directly supporting investment professionals.
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
• Ability to work independently and own projects from beginning to end
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, project plans and milestones
effectively.
• Bachelor's degree required
Keys to the Job:
1. This position is 60% Development and 40% Systems Analysis.
2. Technical Requirement: .NET, C#, Excel and Excel VBA are required. Oracle
and/or SQL Server database knowledge is a plus.
3. Domain Knowledge Requirement: Must have a strong understanding of the
Investment Process, Financial Statement Analysis, including knowledge of
Equities, Derivatives and Market Data (i.e. FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.). CFA
is a plus.
4. Strong Client Interfacing skills are required. This individual will be
working directly with Investors.
5. This is a Senior Level Individual Contributor role.
