Requirement : 5 or more years experience designing and/or deploying Internet-based products or services. Experience working in a high capacity, mission-critical web serving environment with significant Internet components. Experience with Microsoft Windows or Linux required. Experience with both strongly preferred. Detailed knowledge of operating system technologies and systems support - administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, security, and general maintenance of Intel platforms. Knowledge of core Internet protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTP/S, SSH) required. Experience with IP communication, packet structure, load balancing equipment, and troubleshooting required. Experience with Layer 7 troubleshooting required. Experience with web application development platforms, tools and utilities such as Java, PHP, Javascript, Flash and / or PERL. Proven ability to implement and manage solutions that offer massive scale. Experience with Content Delivery Networks preferred. Experience with Memcache and / or SOLR preferred. Experience with relational database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server / MySQL) helpful. Proven ability to work in a team environment inside a dynamic, fast paced business. Shares responsibility well and is flexible in work assignments. Proven ability to participate with other functional teams in systems integration and design.
