The role of the SI is to facilitate the creation of cohesive designs that
span multiple systems and subsystems. The SI works closely with the
development staffs from each of the system teams to unify and clarify the
overall design. The initial project scope of the SI is to assist with
streamlining bank implementations utilizing both a externally hosted and
internal Gateway (SOA) approach.
*Key Skills:-*
* Highly experienced application architects
* SOA expertise (including governance) to assist with Gateway partner
implementations
* Experience with major dev languages, IDEs, protocols
* Ability to collaborate and bring design / development groups together
toward a cohesive design
* Experience with change management for major design changes
* Ability to grasp and understand WU systems, subsystems, interfaces, data
layers, business rules, transaction flows, SDLC
* Ability to interpret interface specifications and make recommendations for
improvement
* Experience with the following:
- .net, J2EE, app development
- RDBMSs
- HP Nonstop, Unisys, AS/400 exposure (very beneficial)
- Process improvement (beneficial)
