QA Software Tester

Job Description
Globalone Information Technologies has an immediate need for a talented and
passionate contract Quality Assurance Tester. The tester will primarily be
responsible for front-end testing including black-box testing, documenting
issues, analyzing logs, and signing off on releases. A candidate with the
ability to develop automated test and build solutions as well as perform
software white-box testing is highly desirable.
This is a contract telecommuting position so the candidate must be highly
self-motivated and willing to work unconventional hours. The applicant will
be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. This
position has a strong potential to evolve into a full-time position as our
team grows.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years software tester or quality assurance experience
- Extensive knowledge of current QA tools and techniques, bug tracking
systems, test design and execution
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Experience working in multiple programming languages and platforms
- Advantages:
+ Experience with .NET, Adobe Flex, HTML5, and JavaScript
+ Understanding of relational databases and MS-SQL
+ Proficient in at least one scripting language (i.e. PERL, Windows)
+ Experience in testing medical software or services
+ Experience in building automated test and build solutions
+ Software development experience
+ Proven management experience
