Analytics Business System Analyst BEAVERTON, Oregon 6 months+ Max Rate : $44/hr c2c Responsibilities: Develop business requirements for internally and externally generated features from business needs provided by product management. Collaborate with the product design engineer on user interface and user experience needs. Act as a subject matter expert [sme] on product development team working with the team to document functional requirements and break them down into clearer user stories for the team to deliver. Work with the product development team to ensure that the acceptance criteria are met and the software meets project objectives/customer expectations as defined by the product owner. Work with the product development team to document system and user interface requirements, data requirements and report formats. Work with the product owner as needed to conduct internal product training sessions and generate product summaries/reference materials to introduce client facing departments to new product features and functions. Aids product team members with quality assurance, end-user documentation and software development as needed. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external users. Follow established documentation and project execution procedures. Provide level of support as needed. Effectively communicate issues and/or business impacts to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Position Requirements: 8+ years direct work experience in a Business Systems Analysis capacity Strong familiarity with Analytics. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. Flexible during times of change. Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Adept at conducting research into business requirements. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. Customer service skills an asset. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Work Conditions: Overtime may be required in meet project deadlines. Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects. Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
