6 MONTHS IN BEAVERTON , OR This person will be a key role for the RQA team which has been created in response to the SOD initiative to support all Nightly Batch Jobs running in UAT environment by analyzing issues and any known or environment specific issues in running those jobs. Core development related anomalies to be reported to development DBAs. Any application deployments and testing in the UAT environment (i.e., final pre-production testing environment). The main duties are to support PROD/UAT Smoke Testing, the UAT Release Approval process, Batch Monitoring and troubleshooting. HTML, .NET, ASP.NET, XML are a - Nice to have skill set Candidate needs to have medium level of skill in SQL server, with experience working with business users. Experience in Release management is a PLUS. ESPONSIBILITIES: Perform analysis of requirements to derive test cases/test scenarios. Perform test data conditioning for UAT test team Identify test data and perform required test data set-up Monitor the nightly jobs and remediate job failures Troubleshoot and find root cause of issues found during testing using technical knowledge Proactively work with QA team and support staff in problem analysis, reproduction and resolution. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Minimum 5 years experience testing web-based technologies (including HTML, .NET, ASP.NET, XML) and desktop applications.
