.NET Developer with SSRS and TFS exp Eagan, MN DURATION: 6+ months Overview: This role will help with the larger initiative to move existing products from WestLaw classic to WestLawNext along with some new products going into WLN. Top required skills: 1. Java or .NET Developer 2. Scripting (ex ANT) 3. TFS Reporting (Nice to Have) Soft Skills: We are looking for a "go-getter" someone who can take on a task and really dive in. Strong troubleshoot skills!! No handholding - must take initiative and be self driven. This is an Agile environment so this role will be collaborative and inter-active - but this person will be given tasks and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving with input from team if needed. Also will offer support to about 70 - 80 developers about 20% of time. A great team to work on - collaborative, supportive, open environment. Each day in the role is different - this is a great position to help build resume with new technologies and tasks with each iteration. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in a technology discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent). • 5 or more years experience in Software Development, Systems Engineering, or Quality Engineering. o Possess solid understanding of Software Engineering practices and programming using a variety of software development languages; such as: .Net and Java. • 2 or more years experience configuring and using one or more of the following Source Control tools: MS Team Foundation Server, GIT, Mercurial (or equivalent). • Experience using scripting languages to automate development tasks; such as, ANT, Batch, Powershell, or VB. • Experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Unix/Linux systems. • A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills. Must have a service-oriented attitude with excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused. • Ability to thrive in a changing environment. Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities. • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and ability to apply that knowledge to the software configuration management effort. Ability to communicate ideas and technical information clearly in both verbal and written form.
