Creates Test Plans by analyzing and decomposing Detail Design Documents, Functional Specification Documents, and Existing System Behavior. Uses Test Plans and User Scenario Documents that detail business functionality. Creates Test Scripts that detail system navigation, system input, and expected test results. Executes Test Plans and Scripts verifying expected results. Logs defects using Defect Tracking system. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of formal testing experience. *Minimum requirements: * · Working knowledge of *debugging with Unix systems*. At least one interpreted language (*shell, python*, etc) · 3+ years of work experience in software development/testing area · *Extensive programming experience in Java* · Planning skills to design test plans and test cases for new assigned features, developing test tools for regression and integration testing.
