*Role*: Jr Java Developer *Location*: Multiple *Duration*: 6+ months to Long term *Rate:* $6800/month on C2C
Good knowledge of the JEE Framework and its components and working knowledge in most of the following areas: EJB, JSP, Servlets, Logging mechanism (ex, Log4J), Eclipse development interface, XML SPY, Toad for Oracle, SQL Developer, JSF, JMS, JDBC, Java Transaction Management, Thread Management, Developing Asynchronous Java Processes • Two (+) years working with transactional database systems; i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 • Experience with ESB products such as MuleESB, IBM WebSphere ESB or SoftwareAG WebMethods • Experience in defining development templates for services and web components for other developers to use • Experience in performance tuning and supporting performance testing using tools such as JMeter or HP LoadRunner. • Experience with writing framework components for large enterprise systems such as COTS adapters and interfaces. • Experience with ORM tools; i.e., Entity Framework, NHibernate · Experience with version control tools like VSS or CVS or SVN · Development experience using Web-sphere or Web-logic application servers · Exposure and understanding of webservers like tomcat or Apache or Similar • Good understanding of build and deploy procedures · Good understanding of HTML UI, CSS and Javascript · Should have hands on experience on rapid application development platforms like eclipse or IBM RAD or similar · Good understanding of coding webservices and exposing them to clients or knowledge of consuming webservices · Knowledge in the area of rules engine like Drools or Corticon or ILog · Knowledge in area of reporting like COGNOS or BIRT · Knowledge in using COTS products like HP Exstream or Adobe LiveCycle · Ability to write Junit or Nunit test cases for unit testing · Ability to perform code reviews using tools like Find Bugs or similar • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices. • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). • Experience with JQuery or similar technologies are preferred.
