Job description:
Designs, develops, and maintains business application solutions by creating
new or modifying existing software applications. Analyzes user
requirements, procedures, and problems to automate, enhance, and/or
optimize business functions using Microsoft C# .Net, SQL Server, and
Microsoft Web Technologies.
Responsibilities:
*Design and develop object-oriented web and desktop applications using
relational databases in a Microsoft C# .Net environment
*Design and Develop data models and relational databases to store
application data
*Advanced SQL Reporting Services Report creation and customization
*Leverage source control software to ensure best practices for code check
out and change tracking
*Quality Assurance and Testing of application software
*Creating use cases and develop functional documentation for projects and
system enhancements included detailed training materials
*Work with various inventory and pricing models to create custom
applications
*Adherence to internal coding standards, works to redefine standards as
necessary
Qualifications:
*Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
preferred
*3+ years object oriented programming experience especially with Microsoft
technologies including strong Visual Studio, C# 2.0 - 3.5 , ASP.NET
2.0-3.5, ADO.NET, LINQ and SQL Server 2005/2008
*5+ years experience in defining and analyzing business requirements,
process modeling, functional systems design or configuration and/or
acceptance testing
*3D Programming (DirectX) and Object Oriented architectures
*Experience with code source control software, Source Safe, MS Team
Foundation, Subversion
*1+ years Window Presentation Foundation (WPF) programming experience
*2+ years Windows Forms programming experience
*Client-Server and N-tier application development experience
*2+ years Database design, normalization, and performance tuning experience
*Ability to work independently and solve problems
*Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills
*Experience in a range of programming technologies, practices, and tools
*Ability to learn on the fly, to evolve with changes in technology
*Experience working within/adhering to formal development methodologies
*Extensive experience writing business applications and developing reusable
components
* Exceptional understanding of Client-Server concepts and related challenges
*1+ years experience in best practices User Interface design/presentation
of data to end users
* Heavy attention to detail; broad picture view as well
* Well-versed in common Microsoft desktop programs including Windows, Word,
Excel, Outlook, etc…
