*Job Title* *SSIS Developer* *Job Location* Downtown Chicago, IL *Duration* 6 Months *Rate* DOE *Description* *The SSIS Developer is responsible for the scripts required to extract, transform, clean and move data and metadata so they can load into the enterprise data warehouse, data marts or operational data stores.* *Key Areas of Responsibilities:* · Work with the business analysis to identify and understand source data systems. · Map source system data to the data warehouse, data marts or operational data store models. · Develop and test extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes using SSIS. · Develop deployment process for SSIS packages. · Define and capture metadata and rules associated with the ETL processes. *Key Deliverables:* · Complete mapping and transformation documentation · Schedule of extraction and load processes · ETL metadata documented and maintained in a metadata repository · Logical and physical data models *Education Requirements:* · BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering · Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Microsoft Certified IT Professional *Technical Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:* · Minimum of 4 years direct work experience · Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience with knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling · Demonstrated ability with SSIS ETL tools · Strong ability to analyze user requirements into technical solutions according to specifications · Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices · Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws · Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills · Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities · Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment · Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Thanks & Regards, Anand V Emmanuel Phone: (831) 210-8850 | Fax: (408) 689-2665 | E-mail: [email protected] Web: http://www.paxtonconsultants.com "Right Solutions.
