DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct requirements gathering, and participate in analysis, lead
design, integration activities, code, unit test, system test, performance
test, debug, and implement, for a variety of internally developed and 3rd
party products.
2. Create detailed uses cases, logical data models, and estimates.
3. Develop and document project design requirements promoting reuse,
flexibility, scalability, reliability, maintainability, security and
adherence to architecture standards
4. Leads analysis, design and code reviews to ensure adherence to the
corporate technical architecture standards and best practices and drives
reuse across business services..
5. Responsible for creating System test plans, test cases, and executing
system test plan.
6. Responsible for creating Performance test plans and executing/reviewing
the performance test plans.
7. Defines and articulates clear and strategic technical solutions for the
assigned projects.
8. Defines and coordinates software integration with other Solution Leads.
9. Manage project technical issues and work to reach resolution.
10. Works with architect to drive continuous improvements in developer
productivity across the Application Development organization.
11. Perform root cause analysis and fix for product defects.
12. Resolve deployment, warranty, and post warranty issues and defects
13. Responsible for producing and delivering high quality, structured,
fully tested solutions on time, on budget, and in accordance with client
requirements and departmental quality standards.
14. Participate in and adhere to Software Development Process (SDP) and
contribute to SDP improvements, including mentoring and reinforcement of
these processes.
15. Required to collaborate with teams within department and outside of
department.
16. Required to work effectively in a team environment with IT peers and
Business partners
17. Provide mentoring and assistance to others.
18. Stay abreast of trends and new products and services in the Information
Technology industry, with an external perspective to research, learn, and
collaborate with outside experts and vendors.
19. Provide technical leadership to the project team during all phases of
the Software Development Process (SDP).
20. Work with technical teams within group as well as outside group to
ensure effective delivery of systems.
21. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
2. Typically has 5 to 7 years of IT work experience in programming and/or
ERP systems analysis. Requires advanced programming techniques and software
design. May require knowledge of ERP applications or object oriented
analysis and design.
3. Advance professional level role. Works on multiple projects as a project
lead team member, occasionally as a technical leader. Works on small to
large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical
environments and knowledge of a specific business area. May coach more
junior technical staff.
4. Knowledge/experience with 3rd-party applications and vendors, software
tool integration and distributed or client-server applications.
5. Strategic thinking and leadership skills with a desire to continuously
improve and embrace change.
6. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Experience in Siebel application development a plus
