*Position : Lead ETL Informatica Developer* *Location : Hartford, CT* *Duration : 12+ months Phone & Skype* *GC OR USC Only* Major Insurance Company needs a Lead ETL Informatica Developer to support the Corporate IT Organization. Technical Lead will guide and lead developers responsible for the health, maintenance and development of Legal, Banking, Strategic Sourcing and Real Estate. Must demonstrate leadership skills and oversee technical delivery of maintenance enhancements, technical currency initiatives, and invest projects. Will have demonstrated experience in delivering quality technical solutions, willingness to understand existing processes and systems, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. •Support and maintain corporate business applications built around a wide variety of platforms including PeopleSoft, Oracle database, Oracle Fusion (Forms & Reports), .Net, Informatica, Webfocus, and third party software packages. •Primary responsibility is to provide technical consultation by enforcing the vision of the application architecture and safeguard the integrity of the application environment, in alliance with architects, other tech leads, and IT application owners. •Oversee technical deliverables for production incident resolution, maintenance, tech currency, and invest projects through the software development life cycle, including validating the completeness of estimates, quality and accuracy of technical designs, build and implementation. •Work closely with stakeholders to design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs and also consistent with the architectural vision. •Mentor and train team members (including Sourcing Partners) to enforce development guidelines and best practices. •Lead change by influencing and educating Business, IT and Sourcing partners. •Act as a point of contact for technical issues. •Provide oversight to ensure the proper application of design patterns, frameworks and services to improve consistency and reduce complexity. •Assure that technical documentation and technical artifacts are accurately prepared and maintained. •Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership in the operational application support areas. •Work across the organization to provide business process or design recommendations consistent with long term business and IT strategy •Work closely with the architecture team to ensure that the technical solution designs and implementation are consistent with the architectural vision. *Qualifications:* · *Bachelor’s Degree & 9 years of development experience with ETL Informatica* *REQUIRED* - Strong Oracle experience, as well as Unix & .Net - Data warehousing experience, and strong reporting skills, MSPI, BO or Webfocus - *Prior experience as a technical lead or lead developer* *REQUIRED* - Experience integrating vendor systems and applications - Human Resources background preferred - Demonstrate skills in shaping and leading development of technical specifications.
