Please have a view on the below position we have with our client and let me know if you be interested? *Location:* Coraopolis, PA *Long Term Role* *Job Summary/Description:* Work with existing Administrators in the planning, development, testing, and execution of a project to upgrade a large, complex Business Objects implementation from v3.1 to v4.1. Candidates will be converting large set of reports from 3.1 to 4.1 (WEBI, CRYSTAL, DESKTOP INTELLIGENCE) and Universes to support the migration project. This is a regulated environment and contractors will be required to update the related documentation, interface with program leads to define data/reporting requirements and improvements to the data/reporting delivery process. Design analytics / reporting to meet the requirements and obtain validation and signoff. Reconcile and troubleshoot data issues. Technical expertise and experience in Business Objects v4.1. Business Objects Universe Design experience on Information Design Tool & Universe Design Tool, Dashboards and KPI Design, Complex Reporting. Should be able to design Universes, define security, and run conversion tools. Experience in complex report development in SAP BO 4.1 - using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports & User Administration using CMC. Sound knowledge in migration of reports from Business Objects 3.1 to 4.1. Knowledge about SAP Business Objects platform architecture and capabilities. Excellent SQL skills. Should be able to write functions/procedures, create views on Oracle & MS SQL Server databases. Experience working with Business Objects 3.1 and 4.1 infrastructure. Extensive Experience with Desktop Intelligence (worked on RCT and converting Deski reports to Webi and Crystal). Working knowledge and usage of Info view, Crystal and Webi Ability to handle all support requests (e.g., problems with reports/Universes, security changes in Business Objects, performance tuning, preliminary analysis of data issues etc) as migrations occur. Troubleshooting support tickets for operational issues. Work through a root/cause analysis and following up on action items. Should have excellent troubleshooting skills w.r.t long running reports, job servers issues. Knowledge of report publishing and report bursting.
