Position: EC/EDI Functional Analyst *Location: **Racine, WI* *Duration: 12 Months+* *Pay Rate: $40-50/hr MAX all inclusive* *Interview will be phone and then Skype or in person (preferred)* *Summary:* As a senior functional resource within the E-Commerce team, the Global Business Process & Technology (BPT) E-Commerce (EC) Senior Functional Analyst participates in the research, testing, and implementation of changes to the existing Business-to-Business (B2B) e-commerce and EDI tools, transactions, and interfaces associated with our global SAP platform. *Responsibilities:* · Identifies and proposes solutions for SAP-related business processes enabled by EDI in support of internal clients and external trading partners. · Provides the EC Technical Analyst with help in identifying and resolving daily support issues, on EC and SAP platforms, related to existing transactions and partners. · Resolves internal and external problems/issues and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. · Establishes and maintains communications within Global BPT, internal business clients, and with external trading partners. · In consultation with senior staff members, works with the EC technical staff to understand the EC toolset capabilities and assists with requirements, design, and testing to effectively apply the toolset’s capabilities. · Has an advanced knowledge of the EDI standards in use at SCJ (e.g. X12, UN/EDIFACT) for all existing production transactions and the ability to quickly learn and implement new standards and versions. · This individual must be competent to work at a high level of all phases of e-commerce process and transaction-level development activities, including regression testing. · Must have a very good knowledge of EC and SAP modules/functionality to assist the Global BPT process teams with less complex projects. · Lead e-commerce initiatives (e.g. upgrades) with minimal assistance and act as project manager for EC initiatives. · Actively participate in Global BPT initiatives as an e-commerce functional resource familiar with EC and SAP capabilities, limitations, and integration points (e.g. IDOCs). · Interacts extensively with internal business clients, new external trading partners, and BPT teams, gathering functional requirements for e-commerce-related applications. · Identifies and implements new e-commerce methods and systems, as well as participates in enhancement and upgrade initiatives for existing systems. · Coordinates / leads activities to ensure development, deployment and support of EC platform and toolsets. · Finds solutions for business operations, and coordinates and implements new e-commerce systems within the overall ERP framework. Identifies opportunities to leverage EC functionality. · Troubleshoots system problems (EC, SAP and non-SAP) and recommends issue resolution. · Leads members of the EC team in the implementation of EC and SAP version upgrades, support packs and database upgrades (EC/EDI side only). · Creates / maintains EC functional documentation including detailed functional specifications. · Works with the EC and BPT teams to define requirements, test and implement new EC applications. · Prepares design and analysis documents, gap analysis, user interface specifications, workflow support and content deiverables for EC initiatives. · Leads trading partner problem resolution efforts. · Analyzes customer information and transaction data and recommends changes that help minimize daily support activities. · Works with Technology Team and Process Teams in the planning and execution of testing, including identifying requirements and creating test scripts. · Works with large customers (trading partners) in support of their business and e-commerce needs. · Manages projects and individual tasks, prioritizing work effectively to meet deadlines. · Manages large EC-related tasks/projects utilizing COE project management techniques.
