*KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES*



   - Develop ETL processes
   - Ensure strategies align or recommend improvements
   - Unit test solutions
   - Raise issues and suggest resolutions
   - Suggest Data Mart table/indexing improvements
   - Create migration plan
   - Maintain change log and distribute to team
   - Create ETL documentation



* MUST HAVE:  Experience developing ETL processes and generating SQL
procedures and validation scripts*

   - *Education – *Bachelor’s degree; Masters preferred


   - *Experience* – minimum of 5 years of professional experience in
   similar role
   - *Competencies *–
      - Translate the strategies used in implementing requirements to ETL
      code, ensure that it is a high performance solution  and execute them.
      - Work in collaboration with the Data modeler and Technical BI BA.
      - Experience with SQL in order to generate SQL procedures and
      validation scripts.
      - Responsible for creating and updating industry/ SDLC specific ETL
      best practices document. Templates for standardized SQL aliasing and ETL
      documentation should be used.
      - Create and execute the overall unit testing plan. Ensure the usage
      of standard template and follow best practices.
      - Responsible for sharing any issues or potential road-blockers
      during the project. Be a part of the team meetings and share the
issues and
      suggest solutions.
      - Suggest indexing/partioning strategies to the Architect/Data
      Modeler based on ETL process requirements.
      - Log all ETL scripts/maps and execution instructions in ETL Change
      Log. Incorporate complete instructions into an ETL migration plan.
      - Work with Data Modeler to identify all DM and ETL components
      required for migration.
      - Work with Architect to devise schedule and timings.
      - Log all ETL updates on the Change Log and keep the team in loop.
      - Ensure to re-visit this document before every migration.
      - Ensure that all the ETL documents like Process Flows, Logic
      Presentations, etc. are up-to-date and are reviewed by the
Architect before
      being shared with the client / stakeholder.

      - Clear and professional written and verbal communications skills
      with presentation and facilitation skills
      - Demonstrated professional interpersonal skills
      - Demonstrated leadership experience in a project team
      - Collaborative professional style
      - Client communication experience in a consulting role is a plus
