Informatica developer NYC DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: • The Consultant will actively participate in development and modification of ETL code, for Finance Rules Engine data flows which will be impacted as a result of onboarding of new Equities Settlement platform (Broadridge BPS). • This role will also be tasked with working with offshore ETL resources to deliver a quality software code. • Assist Team Lead in executing the project plan and meeting due dates • Assist Team Lead and/or own release management of the systems developed
THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE POSITION: • 6+ years as Informatica Developer • Knowledge of the securities brokerage business - trading and risk. • 6+ years with Oracle (or equivalent database experience). • Unix shell and SQL scripting • Development of Test Plan, Test Scripts and Test Documentation for user review and sign off. • Autosys or other scheduling software • Performance Tuning • Create support documents for Level 1 support team • Fully versed with SDLC process including agile methodology • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with total of 10+ years of experience DESIRED SKILLS: • Good understanding of XML and Messaging systems..
