*Position: Sr. Business Analyst with Mortgage Experience and Filenet* *Location: Lewisville, TX* *Duration: 6 Months* *Interview process will be phone and then in person * *Summary:* The primary responsibilities of the Senior Business Systems Analyst position is a hands-on role partnering with key project members at all levels of the organization and will be the primary domain subject matter expert. The position requires the Senior Business Systems Analyst will be detail oriented with exceptional analytical skills, meeting facilitation and presentations skills, scope containment skills, documentary skills, problem-solving skills and demonstrate solid decision making ability. Most importantly, they will promote strong end-to-end ownership of assignments holding themselves and others accountable for delivery against project commitments. Critical skills include being decisive, action oriented, results focused, and outstanding oral and written communication skills. *Responsibilities:* - Effectively lead the analysis, business testing and the coordination of QA/UAT activities. - Diplomatically challenge existing processes and deliverables, define new or evolve processes and deliverables to improve efficiency and effectiveness of products and services provided to the business and the EPMO. - Effectively analyzes business needs and translate into meaningful system requirement specifications. - Proactively conduct research and analysis of business requirements, procedures, problems and available technologies to define systems solutions that increase work efficiency and effectiveness. - Consults with business, IT and third-party resources to identify and document requirements. - Proficiently assess and document tactical and strategic impact of business needs and cross-system impacts. - Effectively document business, functional and system requirements in a clear and concise manner that will provide clear definition of required functionality for use by both business and technology personnel. - Accountable for successfully defining business needs against stated project goals and commitments. - Owns/Drives the definition of business needs to ensure project scope and goals are properly documented and aligned and managed against delivery expectations. - Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business operations and understands the technical scope and objectives of the project. - Manage scope to meet needs of project as defined by pre-determined project timelines; knows when and how to escalate to ensure scope remains in alignment with Executive Sponsor vision. - Accountable for on time completion of analysis and testing artifacts including sign-off by all required team members. - Accountable for analysis and testing adherence to project governance best practices. *Required Skills:* - 7-10 years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst - Mortgage experience in content management systems; FileNet, DataCap Corporate related doc management functions. - Proficient in using MS Office Suite and MS Visio. - Proficient in SQL data analysis and programming interpretation - Demonstrated experience managing analysis and business testing efforts in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. - Self motivated, driven and focused on the production of timely and high quality deliverables.
