Sapient Level & Job Title: Sr. Java & Mule developer Client Location: Burlington MA Contract Start Date: 04-Jan-2016 Contract End Date: 08-Apr-2016 ( can extend ) Remote work allowed (y / n): YES Scope Of Work 1. Developing 10-15 REST api’s using an API development platform like Mulesoft/Apigee. 2. These API’s will be written to support the functional requirements of a mobile app 3. The developers will be responsible to design, documentation, development and writing unit tests for these API Required Skills: 1. Strong experience in APIGEE/Mulesoft or similar API platform on designing and implementing and deploying REST API. 2. Strong knowledge in API Development and data modeling using JSON and XML 3. Strong knowledge and hands on experience in documenting and designing REST API’s using RAML/Swagger or other similar specification 4. Experience with Web Services and REST(Representational State Transfer) architecture 5. Experience implementing API Security and Access Control (Oauth 2.0/SAML etc.) 6. Good Knowledge on design principles and best practices in implementing Web API.
