*Duration : 6 Months * *Extension : Possible* *In Person Only* *Rate: $55/Hr on C2C* *Complete Description:* **local candidates strongly preferred* **ALL candidates MUST be able to attend a personal interview, NO phone interviews, NO Skype, NO exceptions* The Office of Technology Strategic Planning, Business Integration Office at VDOT seeks a Senior Business Integration Analyst with proven business analysis and project management expertise to ensure that VDOT achieves maximum business value from its Information Technology projects. This position is primarily responsible for completing and managing the Requirements Phase of projects and Investment Business Cases to define business objectives and scope, document user stories and business requirements, identify potential technical solutions, evaluate and collaborate with the Information Technology Division to propose a best technical solution, and develop business case documentation (cost-benefit analysis, ROI, etc.) to obtain execution approval by VDOT’s Strategic Technology Board (STB). Once approval is obtained an IT Project Manager will lead the execution phase of the project. This person must be: communicative, engaged, knowledgeable, motivated and extremely efficient. He or She will be responsible for ensuring business users understand their needs, produce 'requirements' which clearly state the business needs and align with business processes, and communicate those requirements to ITD. This position will work with ITD to translate those functional business requirements into technical requirements which will be used to build or modify the system. During application development, this position will work with the ITD team to validate requirements. During final roll out of the application, the Business Integration Team Member will be consulted during user acceptance testing (UAT) and work with the VDOT business unit to ensure all UAT is completed and the system meets all business requirements.
