*Duration 6+ Months* *(Highly desired for local candidates)* *JMS, EJB, JBoss, JVM Performance tuning* *Interview times are already set* *Local candidates are a plus* *QUALIFICATIONS:* • Minimum 8+ years programming and systems analysis experience. • Demonstrated expert knowledge of life cycle through application of complex, multi-disciplinary software applications, involving complicated technology and integration points. • Ability to work as lead cross-functional team projects with minimal supervision. • Experience in design, code, and support of critical enterprise-level systems. • Experience in supporting large-scale web applications and enterprise service software. *Required technical skills:* o Java 6, Jboss 5 or higher, JMS, JEE 5, EJB 3, Spring, SQL/Databases, Linux/Unix, MQ Series o Experience and knowledge of transactional systems. *Preferred technical skills:* o JVM performance tuning, Hibernate or Java Persistence API (JPA), JAX-WS web services, JAXB XML binding, Ant, web security experience such as WS-Security, Grails, Maven. o Experience with real time inventory systems. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Develops complex and/or high risk applications. • Designs and develops complex and high risk application interfaces. • Researches and evaluates business systems of a more complex nature. • Assesses the business and organizational implications of key technologies and recommends appropriate action. • Leads the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, and data model design. • Conducts code reviews. • Oversees the development of technical design alternatives and their implications. • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. • Balance multiple priorities, multi-tasking as necessary.
