*Position SAP BW Developer*
*Location Glen Mills,GA*
*Duration 4 months Contract*
*BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION*
To analyze, design, create specifications, code, test, troubleshoot, and
support the SAP development for the DTTL Finance applications.
- Knowledge of Business Warehouse configuration requirements, process,
and tools
- Strong in Data Modelling.
- Creates aggregates (by using the available utilities and from
scratch) that improve query processing time
- Defines and coordinates the creation of custom extract structures
from ERP and other source systems
- Transfers and activates standard business content
- Creates flat files and maintains meta data
- Schedules and monitors data loads
- Troubleshoot the data issues.
- ABAP knowledge.
- BOBJ Knowledge a Plus.
- Perform all activities related to technical maintenance and
administration of the SAP BW environments to include transports
- Work with DBA’s to resolve data base issues
- Provide proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of the BW environment
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities
and ensure change control is followed as necessary
- Coordinate and participate in application updates and system upgrades
(support packs, hot packs, new releases)
- Perform monthly system refreshes
- Conduct performance tuning monitoring
- Handle expert-level technology issues
- Good knowledge about P L, Balance Sheets, Headcount, Revenue reports.
- Ability to handle development assignments with minimum supervision.
*Work Complexity*
- Job requires a high degree of creativity and judgment related to the
development life cycle
- Significant interaction with Business Analysts, Security Team, and the
System Administrators during the course of the job
- Good understanding and knowledge of SAP FI and BW applications needed
to successfully handle the requirements of the job
- Knowledge of Analysis for Office a plus
- High degree of independent decision making required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
