No h1b Market rate *POSITION SUMMARY:* - The candidate must be self-motivated with a strong background in technology with a proven ability to translate business needs into data rich, enabled applications and interfaces. - Technical and intellectual curiosity is required, along with the ability to pick up concepts and techniques quickly in order to execute projects and solutions. - Technical debugging and problem resolution are important components of the position. - In a Teradata datawarehouse environment, this individual must be an expert at SQL and Unix Kshell scripting *In this role, you will be responsible to:* - Proficiency in writing advance SQL and shell scripting under AIX and Linux environments - Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement shell scripts - Develop technical specification documents - Assist in developing test cases/plans to complete the unit testing and support System testing - Participate in design reviews / code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. - Adhere to deployment code migration strategies from one environment to another - Strong analytical and problem solving skills with production support experience. - Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables thru all phases of the development lifecycle *Qualifications:* - Must have strong demonstrated track record in SQL coding of large scale ETL applications - Must have 3 years of experience in the design and delivery of ETL solutions in building out of components using Kshell scripts - Experience in UNIX/Linux/AIX operating environments is required - Experience in Teradata/Oracle/SQLServer databases - Ability to communicate at all levels of management and with peer associates.
