This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying SharePoint applications throughout the software development life cycle. Capable of working on extremely complex applications/projects and has established himself/herself as a functional expert in a particular business area and a SharePoint technical expert. Beyond programming and software development, is also expected to perform detailed analysis and be capable of documenting business requirements and system impacts to ensure the successful delivery and support of various SharePoint applications. Essential Duties Interface with the business for enhancement requests. Perform detailed technical analysis and be capable of documenting functional/technical requirements and system impacts to ensure the successful delivery and support of various SharePoint applications. Work with the business to analyze business processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance Utilize/apply out of the box Sharepoint parts/solutions. In the absence of an out of the box solution: Write, code, test, and analyze SharePoint programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying SharePoint applications throughout the production life cycle. Conduct extensive unit testing of programs and software applications to ensure they will produce the desired information as per the technical and functional requirements. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced as per the technical and functional requirements. Skills/Experience/Education * 12+ years of IT and business/industry work experience * 10+ years of experience in SharePoint programming * Excellent user interface and communication skills a must * Functional expert in a particular business area and recognized as a technical expert/leader in SharePoint. * 10+ years of experience with data analysis, design and implementation, including working with end users to effectively assess business requirements and define programming needs to support redesigned processes. * 7+ years of experience in systems analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations * Advanced experience in business process design and re-engineering and workflow analysis * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience.
