Paso un proyecto bastante interesante que me ha tenido en silencio los
últimos días. Que tal un Modelo Físico de un sistema de televisión. Para
la gente de video-arte y red de redes, esto puede ser interesante.
Modelo Físico puede ser una algoritmo o un Script en software que
describe el sistema con todas sus opciones y sobre todo el flujo de
señal (datos) desde el origen (fuentes), hasta la percepción (recepción
de señal).

THE PROJECT
A physical MODEL, including hardware and software, that
will replicate all aspects of a television multicast
FROM a television station to a residential television
screen.
DETAILS
1. digital broadcast, typical of a television
station, and convert it to a multicast;
2. send the multicast, over a DS3 line, to hardware
typical of an Internet Service Provider's
Point-of-Presence (POP);
3. forward the multicast, over a fiber optic network,
typical of a residential ISP, to hardware typical of a
residential user.
Assumptions:
It is mostly network technology. Also, it requires knowledge of
telecommunications, ISPs, broadcast television stations, and fiber optic
networks.
