**Supercollider introduction**

SuperCollider is an environment and programming language for real time
audio synthesis and algorithmic composition.
Used by musicians, interactive programmers, and scientist, it's very
powerful, and it also can be a little confusing at first for many people.
This small workshop will provide an introduction to the language and
give you the ability to explore it more fully on your own.
Participants should bring a laptop (with Supercollider installed), if
they have one, as well as headphones.
Linux or Mac computers are highly recommended!
Instructor:
Yvan Volochine (aka El Gusano Rojo) is a musician, producer and
programmer based in Berlin. He ran the label 'Hijos de Puta' from 2001
til 2008.
Some of his developer works were contributions to sc3-plugins,
SuperCollider libraries, as well as pure-data enhancements
(completion-plugin, recent files support, etc...)
The workshop will be taught on linux.
If you need help to install Supercollider, come earlier and we'll do
that together.
