Jeannie and Mario,
Your remarks indicate that you are under the impression that a
candidate is not required to be a resident? If that is the case, you
certainly did not do your homework. All but a few of the "pundits"
as you call us are residents of AP or own property here, and the few
that don't have many years of ties and involvement here. What are we
saying that is untrue? Do you go to council meetings? Did you hear
John Loffredo not only reverse his opinion what Asbury Partbers
should pay for yours and my asset (Triangle) but unabashedly become
the #1 Asbury Partners sycophant. People of your ilk and mindset are
so desperate for ANY development that you will settle for anything.
>From many of the postings from the GLH put here it appears that many
on that list are very shorthsighted and only worried about how much
their property values have increased. We "pundits" are no less
concerned, however, we take a longer view and want the best we can
get. Perhaps you don't mind people taking advantage of you; we do.
The resurrgence of AP is so easy that kids could show some success.
We have only one chance to do this right, why settle for mediocrity?
I have yet to see one posting from GLH or AP|PAC that intelligently
challenges the issues many of us have raised. I guess ignorance is
bliss.
