Belmar's redevelopment is expected to take 7 years. They have
a "Triangle" too. I bet they beat AP to the punch. 26 years and
counting. Someone point Larry to the waterfront.

"Pringle said he expects redevelopment to take about seven years to
complete. He's hopeful that the first project -- the former Sea Coast
Chevrolet site on the corner of Main Street and Eighth Avenue -- will
be before the Planning Board in two months with groundbreaking coming
in the fall. Sea Coast Chevrolet now operates on Sunset Avenue in Ocean
Township.

The council, which is empowered to sign off or reject each piece of the
redevelopment project, will have a look at conceptual retail and
housing plans for that site at the special council meeting tonight.

The second project involves what Saltzman said is referred to as "the
triangle site," between Sixth and River avenues. There are three
businesses there: 507 Main at Shark River, a bar and restaurant; Belmar
Paint and Decorating at 511 Main St.; and the Motor Car Truck Center at
501 Main St., a used car dealership."
