hinge, being relatively new to this board, you should realize this isthe asbury way. one thing we love to do is fight amongst ourselves or, at a minimum, bicker. its part of the beauty of this board. the individuals here all have a passion for AP, yet retain their individual viewpoints. there have been some classic arguments up here, but yo can bet that if any one fell into a situation where help was needed every single sleeve would be rolled up in unison. actually, a lot of the bickering is constructive. in this town, a lot of things are misrepresented and the open back in forth here usually bubbles the facts to the surface. werner could not have been more right when he said: ===================================================== "I suspect you are just repeating bad info that you heard from others instead of doing your own research. Asbury Park is a small town and it's easy to discredit someone or divert attention from the truth by spreading misinformation." ===================================================== anyway, i have always held the belief that a strength of community can be measured is its ability to disagree and still come together to share ideas. this board is clear enough evidence that the community here is a strong one. too bad we cant get the other 16,950 or so folks in AP up here for real town meetings.
unrelated, are you the infamous "hinge"? do the names the wallbangers, the x-men, or secret syde mean anything to you? if so, you might be interested in a show at the brighton on wednesday. Quenton Quayle and Tex Hatfiled will be perorming some of the QQ & the Hatfield Family Singers greatest hits. In addition, the entire band will be performing at the Saint next Tuesday. As you may or may not know, QQ is the latest alias of one area's most legendary underground social commentators and madmen. You know him better by the initials JD. --- Hinge <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Say...could you guys stick to the topic you are > posting in, and take your fighting > somewhere private, like email? > No need to air your private fights here. > > --- In [email protected], traderdube > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > You are 100% correct Werner, not surprisingly > either. > > > > wernerapnj wrote: > > > > > --- In [email protected] > > > <mailto:AsburyPark%40yahoogroups.com>, s325run@ > wrote: > > > > > > > > Well at least I got a dialog started here.
