I'm not sure where this response fits... but in the mega-developer
world, a master developer is looking to line its pockets at every
juncture. The selection process for its sub-developers takes pay to
play to a whole new level. Asbury Partners will only grant sub-d
rights to players who can further enrich its coiffers... whether it be
cash, cars, boats, reciprocating opportunity to participate in future
deals, land spec deals, or some other off the radar financial windfall.
