Dinner Will Benefit City Parade
Tickets are on sale for the Asbury Park Fourth of July Parade Fund-raiser
scheduled for Thurs., June 7 at Jimmy's Restaurant on Asbury Avenue in Asbury
Park.
The event, which will feature a sit down dinner, will raise money for the
parade and festival and will introduce the parade grand marshals - Bob and
Doris Carroll.
Tickets are $40 each and include dinner and a complimentary drink. They may be
purchased by calling Cassandra at 502-5755 or The Coaster at 775-3010.
The July 4 event, established by Deputy Mayor Jim Bruno several years ago, will
include a parade through the city and rides, games and food and other vendors
at Bradley Park and Atlantic Park at the beachfront.
Bruno said a "spectacular" fireworks display will end the festivities at dusk.
