so you finally admit that there is a need for a shelter in Asbury Park.
Fallacy of the Leading Statement.

So in other words, you want some other agency, organization or group to
open a shelter, just not the market street mission people?
Fallacy of the Leading Question.

JSRM supporters claim there are 116 homeless in AP; opponents say 25-30.
The Zoning Board is still investigating the numbers.

Tommy D. posted here that AP has "over 80 non-profits and 39 churches, all
helping the poor." (#22217)
My posts from various databases concur with those numbers, though I question
the extent to which "all" are addressing the problem.
The need for an additional organization has yet to be shown.

IF there is a need in this city (not the county), we deserve an organization
which has been thoroughly vetted on a number levels:  top-rated, not bottom;
one offering "A Hand Up, not a Hand Out"
