Henry C. Winsor was President of the Asbury Park & Ocean Grove Bank
and is credited as having spearheaded the fund raising efforts for
the Bradley Statue.

That Bank was a major economic force in the development of this area
The building (the second one) still exists across from City Hall and
is occupied by Sovereign Bank today.

Winsor was also a developer, responsible for the building on Main
Street across from the Post Office. (NE corner of Main and Bangs)

Known as the Winsor Building, a commercial/residential structure, it
is listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places.
