While I agree the Columbus event is relative to the Asbury Park yahoo group, I can't believe you think the two of you aren't going to go at it again. No plans to go at it with TD. Someone else here, new I think, is trying to debate. Just don't post fifty times on the subject and try to be a little more brief. This goes for everybody. Did three posts: one presenting boths sides of the issue. Two indicating other ways to indicate pride in Italian American culture. Brief? Why? Some issues demand at least a few paragraphs. For Mego's (My Eyes Glaze Over) there's always the handy little "x" to click on. Group's guidelines are to remain OT, not necessarily always to be brief. I don't do soundbites. Besides I think they lead to endless threads. I don't know how some of you have all the time to do the research and writing that you do. A lifetime career centered on research and writing makes it easy and not so time-consuming. Also, Rook ---- Can you ask Ida Corrubia what she remembers about the destruction of the Mayfair? Thanks. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
