Fundamental prob with Style Rocket- casual clothes, primarily aimed at
men. Most men do not spend money like that on clothes. Indeed, it is
probably even a subset of women that would spend that kind of money on
casual clothing. My husband looked a pair of shorts he liked,
seriously $184. We laughed and left. For shorts??!! You cannot wear
them to work... they are seasonal... That is a lot of money for that
kind of clothing item. Who would spend that for shorts? Maybe ultra
rich teens who pay with daddy's credit card, or well off women who
just don't care. You want to have an expensive clothing store, it
should be a boutique selling stuff that women can wear to go out, to a
wedding, to a party. Secondary, is clothes for work. I think women
would rather spend money on going out clothes, than work clothes. For
men, I observe men spending money on suits, ties, dress shirts and
shoes. For other stuff, most of us like to bargain hunt. I get my
casual stuff at H&M, for ex. When I was single and worked/lived in
NYC, I made a very nice salary. I spend $$ on clothes - had some
seriously nice shoes, dresses, and purses, but never spent $184 for
shorts.
